The tone is confident, direct, and short-sentence-driven. No corporate language. No buzzwords. The goal of this email is to get a 15-minute phone call, not to close a sale. Reference the fact that most marketing for roofers focuses on brand awareness when it should focus on booked jobs. Write a 5-sentence cold outreach email with a clear, low-friction CTA.
That is not a longer prompt. That is a different kind of prompt. And the output will be unrecognizable compared to what the first version generates.
The Three Layers of Context
Effective context loading has three layers. Most people operate at layer one, occasionally reach layer two, and rarely touch layer three.
Layer 1: Identity Context
Who are you? What do you do? Who do you serve? What is your communication style? This is the foundation. Without it, the model is guessing at your voice. Feed it your bio, your brand language, sample copy you have written before, and a plain-language description of how you like to communicate.
Layer 2: Audience Context
Who is this for? What do they already believe? What are they afraid of? What would make them click, buy, respond, or trust? The more specific your audience context, the more your output will feel written for a specific human instead of written for everyone, which is the same as writing for no one.
Layer 3: Output Context
What does success look like for this specific deliverable? What format should it take? What length? What level of technicality? What is the one thing it must accomplish? What is the one thing it must avoid? This is the layer most people either skip or underfill. A model given no output context will default to the average of what it has been trained on. The average is, by definition, mediocre.

Think of these as smart templates, but for the AI’s operating environment, not for the content it produces. You have a voice and brand block that you paste in whenever you are writing anything. You have an audience profile block for each major audience segment you serve. You have format rules blocks for each type of content you produce regularly.
When you start a new session, you paste the relevant blocks, then make your request. The model already knows where it is. It does not need to be guessed.
